The rose was a bit of an attempt to get the hang of working in colored pencils again. I've been coloring with Photoshop or a combination of colored pencils and Copic markers for so long that it seems I've lost my touch with using the pencils alone.

The poor quality of the scan always surprises me. I need to tamper with the settings because man, that is really crummy.

I normally draw young people all the time so I was thinking Monday would be a breeze. Then I realized I had drawn nothing but old people for 2 weeks straight. I had to flip back to find these.
