Concept art of something weird:

I have a friend who's a writer, and she wanted me to design some crazy science fiction device for her. I don't actually know what it does, but then again, her story never reveals what it does, since the plot entirely revolves around the people who want it. I'll probably be building a 3d model of this for her cover art.

This week I dedicated a whole page in my sketchbook to studying bears. The page of old folks heads that I posted were inspired by an animator named James Kim, so the old lady is his design, but then I studied a couple of his other sketches and played around with his style to make the other three.
